Rules / Agreement.  All members agree, through the use of the message board including the use of pm [private message] and email contacts accessible on the Stars of Wisdom community message board. Members agree herein....

Members are NOT allowed to post any material which is: false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profanity, discriminating, prejudice, racist, troublesome, threatening, intimidating, invasive of a person's privacy, sexually explicit posts or images or otherwise in violation of any law.

Pyramid Schemes and Chain-Letters are Strictly NOT Allowed on the forums, by Email and Private Messaging

Nudity, Sexually Explicit Content and Profanity is strictly NOT allowed. Please be advised there are children who can view this message board. Stars of Wisdom is a family oriented website for all age-groups to enjoy. Therefor Stars of Wisdom need not place warning notices accordingly as the law requires this in regards to adult content.

Troublemakers (Also known as Trolls and Bullies) To provoke, to cause trouble in any way is strictly NOT allowed.

Post Queue? commonly known as Mod Queue. Any member placed in a Mod Queue will result in posts being reviewed by the administrator prior to being posted on the forums.

Emails, Private Messaging: Please be advised that members are NOT allowed to send offensive content to other members.

IMPORTANT: Almost all message board software's includes "Email Logs". To prevent malicious use, all Emails sent via the message board - forums are logged and available to the administrators. DO NOT Email user names, passwords or any personal details.   At Stars of Wisdom we advise our members to refrain from using Email via the board as this also accumulates too many "Email Logs" wasting space on the database.  The "Email Logs" is part and parcel of the software designed by the creator of these message board software. Stars of Wisdom is NOT the creator of the software and therefor takes no responsibility in regards to the "Email Logs' featured on this board.

Libel: We advise all members to withdrawal from unkindly gossip (lies, unkind slurs). Libel activities is prohibited by law and thereby this sort of activity is prohibited on the on the Stars of Wisdom community forums.

Advertising or Promotion on this message board is inappropriate however the use of advertising or promotion in Signatures is allowed, this can include a link-banner-image. In special circumstances such as the "Talented Members" are allowed to promote their artistic material but of course without excessive advertising or promotion.

Multiple Duplicate Topic/Threads may be deleted! Only 2 threads of the same topic regarded as being particularly popular may be accepted. This will be solely determined by the administrator and moderator staff.

Bumping Topics/Threads is acceptable but repeatedly bumping more than twice in succession is not allowed. Bumping a Topic that includes a comment is allowed. If you have an important Topic/Thread that needs to remain on top priority contact the Administrator. All important Sticky Topics/Threads will be considered.

Anti-Spam - Security Features:
Unfortunately "Malicious Spammers" are Targeting Message Boards by posting Obscene Content and Links to other unknown sites that contain viruses. A lot of Spammers are "Spam-Bots" that should not be able to access this message board. There are clever security features on this message board (forums) that automatically stops Spam-Bots.

If you see anything that is in breach of this agreement! Contact one of the Moderators or Administrators by pm [private message]. Do not reply to an offensive message. Admin and Moderators have the rights to edit or remove posts, this includes locking or removing any thread/topic.

All Message Boards - Forums Records IP Numbers for 3 important Reasons:
[.1.] To sight a 'Restricted Member' re-registering under another user-name.
[.2.] in the event a member is in violation of the law their ISP and the police can be contacted.
[.3.] in the event that a member account is unlawfully accessed by a hacker their IP number will be different therefor showing a different ISP regardless if a proxy was used. This is a simple yet very effective security feature that can easily determine if unlawful access did in fact occur if so the police can be notified and the offender can be tracked down by the police.

Restricted Members
Violations of this agreement may result in "Official Warning" or "Restricted Membership". Repeated minor violations or at least one major violation of this agreement will result in "Restriction of Membership" for a duration of time specified and based on the severity of the violation and your ISP may be contacted.

Restricted Members
All accounts under the title of "Restricted Members" will be placed in a Mod-Queue which means all posts will be reviewed by the administrator before being approved (posted publicly on the forums), at times the Mod-Queue may be busy therefor any posts in the Mod-Queue may take up to a week or so before being approved. Most message boards such as InvisionFree, Zeta-Boards and Invision-Power-Boards have what is called Mod-Queue which is for controlling repeat-offenders content and is why Stars of Wisdom decided that it no longer requires to ban members. Be warned: Stars of Wisdom will not tolerate unlawful behavior. Any violations of the law may result in the police being notified.

Also note that all "Restricted Members" will have their pm (private messaging), Email and image post rights such as Avatar privileges taken away from their accounts.

Level - Restricted Membership:
Level 1: 7 days
Level 2: 14 days
Level 3: 28 days
Level 4: Two months
Level 5: Three months
Level 6: Six Months
Level 7: One year
Level 8: Two years or more depending the offense (minor violation(s) of the law)
Level 9: Indefinitely. This is for serious violation(s) of the law.

The Restriction of Membership level is determined only by the Administrators based on the severity of the violation of this agreement and Internet law. This is a justified process, any member who feels they have been unfairly treated can contact the administrator immediately Click Here

The Administrators and Moderators have the rights to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This policy goes for member profile information as well.
